Doctor Appointment 7-8-08

Well hello everyone! It's that time again...we had another doctor appointment today. And yet again...nothing too exciting!!! Today was my blood glucose test so I had to arrive at the doctor's office 30 minutes early to go to the lab. They give you this sugary drink that you have to drink in 5 minutes. Well they made it sound like it would be very hard to finish in the 5 minutes, but to me the drink just tasted like Orange Hawaiian Punch....so it wasn't that bad. :-) When I arrived at the lab the lady asked what I was there for and so I told her I was there for the 1 hour glucose test. I told her my doctor had told me to arrive 30 minutes early so that I could drink the stuff, then go to my appointment, then go back up and have my blood drawn. Well the lady said, "Let's just wait a few more minutes because you have to have it drawn exactly 1 hour after you finish drinking it and I don't know how long your appointment will last." I told her whatever, so I waited. Then when I finished I went down for my appointment. It was the typical appointment, I got weighed, then went in the exam room to wait for the doctor for about 5 minutes, then he came in, asked if we had questions (which I forgot about at the time), then he listened to Kallie's heartbeat and we were done. This was all by about 11:10. My blood draw was not until 11:46. Needless to say we had to sit around and wait...Ryan asked why we even go to the doctor since our appointments last about 5 minutes!! I go back to the doctor in 4 weeks, on August 5th. I will post another blog when I hear back about the test results. I am also going to post a 25 week picture tonight...so keep checking back!!! :-) Hope all is well! I know we're nice and HOT...can't wait for the 70 degree weather again!
